Submeter Installation
Submetering is one of the most cost effective ways to reduce and recover the ever increasing utility expenses your property. With AMBS you will no longer have to provide your tenants with free water, sewer, heat, or electric services.
When you choose to have AMBS Submeter your property our team of professional installers will put a small meter into every unit. This meter will record your tenants actual usage and allow us to bill that tenant for their actual consumption. This ensures fair and accurate billing, as well as encouraging your tenants to conserve. If the tenant takes steps to reduce their usage they will see a direct reward in way of a lower utility bill.
AMBS Submeters for all major utility, including Gas, Electric, and Water.
Submeter Billing
By accurately billing tenants for actual consumption, tenants are encouraged to conserve water, gas, and electricity as a means to lower their utility bill. Also, it allows property owners to identify leaks quicker.
According to an EPA study, daily water consumption in an apartment building not using submetering ranged from 375 to 425 gallons per apartment per day. However, an apartment building that did use submetering, was found to use from 90 to 160 gallons per apartment per day.
Each month AMBS will gather all of the meter reads from your property, analyze those readings, and then produce a statement for each of your residents. Along with the metered utility, AMBS can bill your residents for other services at the same time, things like trash removal, pest control, cable tv, etc. Read More...
