Who is AMBS?

We are a third party billing company that provides property owners and managers with billing services to bill tenants for their usage for services such as water, gas, electricity, pest control, trash, rent, and more.

How often am I billed?

AMBS bills you at the direction of your property's management. Typically bills are generated on either the 1st or the 15th of each month. Contact our customer support team at 1-866-740-2627 to find out your exact billing date.

I received a Postcard Bill from your company. Where do I pay?

Your property has elected to collect the payments from you directly. Please send your payment to the address listed at the bottom of your bill. If you have questions concerning your bill or how to make a payment please contact your property management.

I received a Full Page statemement. Where do I pay?

Check the Top of your statement to see if the Return address or the Mail payment to address is our payment processing center

If your statements show this as the address to send the payment to, then we have included a pre-addressed return envelope for you to return your payment.

If the address listed is for your property or the management company of your property, the management team of your property has elected to collect your utility payment directly,  please contact your property management team for further assistance.

What is the Service/Statement/Admin Fee on my bill?

Where allowed by law, a small administrative fee may be charged to your monthly statement. This fee covers a wide range of costs incurred in generating your monthly statements including, mailing fees, printing fees, meter reading fees, meter maintenance, and other related fees.  Most utility companies charge some time of customer service fee, AMBS is no different.

What is the Account Setup Fee on my bill?

Where allowed by law a small account creation fee may be added to your first statement. This fee is a one time charge for establishing your account with us.

I am moving out, how to I close my account?

Your property management team is responsible for opening and closing your account.  They will advise AMBS on the status of your unit.
